Chaifetz Arena

Located in the heart of Midtown on the Saint Louis University campus, Chaifetz Arena has established itself as a premier destination for major comedy tours since opening its doors in 2008. While it serves as the modern home for the university’s Billikens basketball teams, the venue is equally celebrated for hosting high-energy entertainment. Its design offers fans clear sightlines and an intimate atmosphere that bridges the gap between a traditional theater and a massive stadium, making it a favorite stop for top-tier national acts. The arena has a rich history of showcasing comedic legends and hometown heroes alike. St. Louis native Cedric the Entertainer has frequently headlined the stage, alongside other heavyweights such as Martin Lawrence, Mike Epps, and DL Hughley. From star-studded ensemble tours like "Straight Jokes No Chaser" to solo specials by performers like Deon Cole and Michael Blackson, the venue consistently delivers a professional and vibrant environment for world-class stand-up.
