DeVos Performance Hall

DeVos Performance Hall is a premier entertainment destination in downtown Grand Rapids along the scenic Grand River. Since opening in 1980 as part of the DeVos Place Convention Center, the venue has served as a cultural anchor for Western Michigan. The theater features tiered seating that ensures excellent sightlines and acoustics, providing an intimate feel despite its grand scale. Its central location places guests steps away from the city’s vibrant downtown district, ideal for a complete night out. While the hall hosts everything from Broadway tours to orchestral concerts, it is a top-tier stop for major comedy tours. The stage has welcomed legendary performers and modern icons, including Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Chelsea Handler. For comedy fans, the venue offers a polished atmosphere that allows every joke to land perfectly, making it one of the region's most reliable spots for a world-class laugh.
