Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall

Located within the Marcus Performing Arts Center along the Milwaukee River, the Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall is a premier destination for intimate live performances in downtown Milwaukee. Renamed in 2014 following a gift from philanthropists Don and Kate Wilson, the venue features a modern "jewel box" design with a proscenium stage and vibrant red decor. Following a significant renovation, the room is celebrated for its crisp acoustics and excellent sightlines, providing a sophisticated yet personal atmosphere for comedy fans. The theater hosts a diverse array of entertainment, including touring musicals, variety shows, and stand-up. It is a frequent home for national comedic acts and satirical revues, such as The Second City, and has featured performers like Fred Klett and Josué Comedy. Situated in the heart of the city’s theater district, the venue offers a refined setting for catching headliners just steps from the Milwaukee RiverWalk.
