Laughs 4 Life 10th Anniversary

The Saenger Theater is a historic cornerstone of downtown Hattiesburg, originally opening as a grand movie palace in 1929. Designed by architect Emile Weil, the venue features a striking Neoclassical Revival and Art Deco style and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it offers a warm, intimate setting for live performances, where the vintage charm of its original theater organ and ornate chandelier creates a unique atmosphere for comedy fans. As a premier destination for touring acts in Mississippi, the Saenger regularly hosts nationally recognized comedians and high-energy stand-up tours. The stage has welcomed a diverse range of talent, including household names like Rob Schneider and Rickey Smiley, along with popular performers like Ali Siddiq and John Crist. Whether catching a rising star or a seasoned veteran, visitors enjoy a professional experience in the heart of the city’s historic district.
