Sam Jay

Sam Jay is an Emmy-nominated comedian, writer, and actor whose sharp, unapologetic voice has redefined modern stand-up. Hailing from Boston, Jay broke barriers as the first Black lesbian writer for Saturday Night Live, earning multiple Emmy and WGA Award nominations for her work. She solidified her status as a powerhouse with her acclaimed Netflix special 3 in the Morning and the HBO special Salute Me or Shoot Me, which showcased her unique ability to dismantle complex social issues with raw, "barroom conversation" energy.
