Samson Koletkar, widely known as "Mahatma Moses," is the world’s only Indian Jewish stand-up comedian. Originally from Mumbai and now a staple of the San Francisco comedy scene, this techie-turned-comic delivers a refreshingly cerebral and witty performance. Blending his unique Indian heritage and Jewish roots, he offers a sharp, sophisticated perspective on immigrant life that has earned him recognition as one of Silicon India’s “10 Indian Comedians Who Found Success in the U.S.” A cornerstone of the Bay Area comedy ecosystem, Koletkar founded the award-winning Comedy Oakland and co-created the Desi Comedy Fest, the largest South Asian comedy festival in America.
