Thundercat
On Tour
Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner is a double Grammy-winning virtuoso and a singular force in the intersection of music and alternative comedy. Known for his "laser-sharp humor" and surrealist persona, Thundercat has become a staple of the Los Angeles comedy circuit, frequently appearing as a judge on Roast Battle at the world-famous Comedy Store. His career is defined by a unique ability to blend high-level musicianship with a quirky, tongue-in-cheek style that has earned him a devoted following across both the jazz and comedy worlds. Beyond the stage, Thundercat has showcased his comedic timing on The Eric Andre Show, Portlandia, and in his acting debut in The Book of Boba Fett. His collaborations with comedians like Zack Fox and Dave Chappelle highlight his reputation as a "comedian’s musician," often using his platform to deliver absurdist commentary alongside his signature six-string bass grooves.
